The Central Georgia Writing Project is jointly funded by Georgia College & State University and a generous grant from the National Writing Project.
We seek to affirm and empower classroom teachers working within the current educational context of top-down mandates and high-stakes assessments. Rather than adding to the burdens thrust upon classroom teachers, the CGWP equips teachers to flourish in this complicated environment, while simultaneously benefiting students in significant and inspiring ways.
